Michael Stephen Seresin, ONZM BSC (born 17 July 1942) is a New Zealand cinematographer best known for working with British filmmaker Alan Parker on numerous projects. Seresin’s first picture as a filmmaker was Homeboy, which starred Mickey Rourke and was written by him. Seresin is a winemaker who established Seresin Estate in Marlborough in 1992, in addition to his film career. He is the son of Harry Seresin (1919-1994), a prominent player in Wellington’s hospitality and café industry.
